Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide fiscal monitoring, tracking and coordination for CSN's TAACCCT Round 2, Department of Labor Grant, including but not limited to creating, revising, tracking and monitoring TAACCCT grant program expenditures and revenue. Prepare fiscal/financial reports required by CSN/DWED administration and Department of Labor and provide reports and information to TAACCCT project evaluators, as requested. 

*Develop, maintain and analyze budgets; comply with federal, Department of Labor specifically, state and CSN policies, procedures and regulations; Coordinate budget preparation, revision and reporting with CSN Grants Financial Manager, CSN/DWED administration and grant project team. Compile data and documents, based on budgets; review operating expenditures, program needs; consult with grant management team to ensure that processes are in accordance with any grant amendments; seek best practices to improve and maintain efficiency; provide advice and technical assistance with budget analysis, fiscal allocation, budget revisions and fiscal reporting requirements. 

*Create, submit and track contractor /vendor agreements, RX's, LPO's, PV's IV/IX's and Office Max Orders; code documents according to CSN, state and federal procedures; utilizing CSN's Data Warehouse and Advantage, access financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts; calculate costs of materials, overhead and other expenses, based on estimates, quotations and price lists; match order forms with invoices, and record the necessary information. 

*Oversee accurate completion, timely preparation and submission of TAACCT instructor payroll. Track instructor contracts and provide support to program Senior Specialist to ensure timely payment of DWED part-time instructor or wages payroll. 

*Prepare and maintain new databases and generate reports by request of CSN, Division administration, senior specialist or evaluation team. Communicate as needed or requested by the staff and evaluators. 

*Review operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures.  

Required Qualifications
NOTE: This is a grant funded position and subject to the ongoing funding of the grant. 

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field from a regionally accredited college or university and 1-2 years related experience OR an Associates Degree from a regionally accredited college with 5-6 years related experience. 

Ability to generate, understand and explain financial reports and/or spreadsheets. 

Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel and Word. 

Ability to work evenings and/or weekends based on workload demands.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of college financial services, purchasing and contracts processes and procedures. 

Demonstrated experience using financial and/or accounting systems. 

Experience generating fiscal reports and databases for budget management. 

Experience monitoring and tracking fiscal activities for a federal and/or state grant program. 

Knowledge of federal and/or state grant compliance and reporting procedures. 

Experience Working with a diverse student and employee population.
