TENURE TRACK FACULTY IN THE COUNSELOR EDUCATION PROGRAM

DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION & ALLIED STUDIES

The Department of Education and Allied Studies seeks applicants for a faculty position (Assistant Professor) in the Counselor Education Program. This is a tenure track position in a CACREP-accredited master’s program.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Doctoral degree from a CACREP accredited program
• Valid license, or license eligible, as a Professional Clinical Counselor
• Evidence of potential for research and publishing in the field of Clinical Mental Health or School Counseling

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience teaching graduate level courses in Counselor Education
• Established record of scholarly publications
• Experience with CACREP accreditation standards
• Administrative experience
• Experience supervising counseling practicum and internship students
• Licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation in Ohio
• Licensed as a School Counselor
• Active participation in state/national counseling organizations and related community
organizations

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teaching graduate level courses
• Advising students
• Publishing scholarly works which reflect a focused research agenda
• Coordinating program activities
• Contributing service to university, department, and program
• Actively participating in state/national counseling organizations and in related
community organizations
