Position Summary:
The Associate Director (AD) of ECLIPSE (Employment Capacity Leveraged through Inclusive Post-Secondary Education) will ensure program personnel deliver services to inclusive post-secondary education (IPSE) programs in Idaho to increase student capacity for competitive integrated employment (CIE). This position is a key member working to improve education and CIE in Idaho.

This position will work alongside the ECLIPSE Program Director and Co-PIs to partner with stakeholders to provide grant oversight. This includes, but not limited to: Rehabilitation Services Administration, IPSE program staff, National Technical Assistance Center on Transition: The Collaborative (NTACT:C), Idaho Department of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Idaho Department of Labor. This position will provide direct support and oversight to CIE Specialists at Idaho IHEs with IPSE offerings (currently three IHEs, expanding to five in Grant Year 3). They will ensure consistency across the state to achieve the organizational goals of developing training materials and guidance documents in addition to providing training and technical assistance (TA) following evidence-based practices focused on competitive integrated employment (CIE) to CIE Specialists at Idaho IHEs. Additionally, this position supports statewide coordination between the local interagency transition team members and informed decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Two years facilitating work experience activities in an inclusive postsecondary education program (IPSE) for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Experience supporting efforts to increase student capacity for competitive integrated employment
  • Experience developing and delivering training, coaching, to support professional development
  • Using computer software and applications for online communication and research, word processing, developing spreadsheets, producing presentations and generating reports
  • Working independently and in a self-directed manner





Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in Education or related field
  • Five or more years working with individuals with disabilities
  • Familiarity with job training curricula for individuals with disabilities
  • Leading team-based projects to create and deliver quality guidance and professional development
  • Developing and delivering training, coaching, and supporting adult learners to implement, evaluate and sustain evidence-based practices
  • Experience with state or regional level projects
  • Experience facilitating interagency collaboration
  • Authored professional published works and/or engaged in research activity
  • Experience organizing and delivering conferences
